The inn known as Pousada Eckerlino in the town of Lauro de Freitas is just 21 miles from the beautiful town of Salvador, 9 miles to the airport, and only 160 yards to the beautiful beach of Buraquinho. Managed by Swiss owners, the bungalows are beautifully and comfortably furnished and set among lovely gardens. Air conditioned rooms contain either a double or three beds, and are outfitted with a mini fridge and TV. Hammocks sway on the verandas, inviting guests to relax and enjoy the breezes. Breakfast is a buffet of local specialties, fresh fruits, and juices. The hosts will fetch guests from the airport, if needed.
