Paul Caswell - Chief Imagination Officer / Founder
Raised on the Great Lakes, Paul Caswell moved to Annapolis, Maryland, as a teenager and attended Severn School, where he took up flying at the age of 15. His other love of the water, technology, and entrepreneurial pursuits followed him through Kent State University, where he focused his studies on Aerospace Flight Technology.
He then founded Admiral Computer Graphics, which led to him being recruited by a young company called America Online Inc., where he spent seven years. Working his way up from technical support and product development to executive management, Paul had a direct role in AOL’s incredible growth and success.
He was responsible for the development, coding, integration and support of many of the innovative aspects of the online service as we know it today. A few of those iconic products included Instant Messaging, Parental Controls, Online Polling, and various versions of the AOL software for both Windows and Mac platforms.
Leaving AOL at its zenith, Paul founded Casair, providing corporate and private clients with domestic and international air charter and aircraft management services. He holds the highest levels of flight ratings, including the Airline Transport Pilot certificate.
Having sailed and raced in many categories since he was a boy, he took up windsurfing, which led to a passion for kitesurfing. He had competed on the Professional Kiteboard Riders Association (PKRA) World Tour for five years where he reached a world rank of 16th overall. His extreme passion for kiteboarding and relentless efforts to promote the sport enabled Paul to join the ranks of the PKRA management where he currently serves as the Vice President since 2009.
Jeremie Lecaudey - Co-Founder & Director/Producer
Born and raised in Paris, Jeremie studied Cinematography at the prestigious Paris-Sorbonne University. After working as a windsurfing and kiteboarding instructor as a summer job, he established a kite school in Margarita where he first met Paul Caswell.
While working for Club Mistral in Tarifa, Spain, he thought that the company could use a video presentation as a marketing tool and presented the idea to the owner who sent him travelling around the world for the next 2 years. It is where he learned the art of extreme sports filmmaking while covering all the activities that the club offered in each center.
During his travels for Club Mistral, he started filming a couple of pro riders that introduced him to Stance Magazine and Gilles Langlois, former video editor for Stance. Gilles soon became his mentor and taught him the art of professional editing and filmmaking.
While working for Stance magazine his path crossed with the Professional Kiteboard Riders Association (PKRA) a couple of times where he met Paul the second time around who was trying to push the live media coverage of the PKRA. After a few successful tries together, they founded Extreme Elements TV, which specializes in extreme sports film-making.
