The Grenadines

A string of 32 pristine islands and remote cays make up the Grenadines, under the administration of nearby St. Vincent. Accessible by air and ferry boat, the main islands include Bequia, Canouan, Mayreau, Mustique, Palm Island, The Tobago Cays, and Union Island. Bequia is the largest, just nine miles below St. Vincent. Canouan, at only three miles long, offers outstanding beaches of fine white sand. Mayreau is privately owned with only a few residents. Mustique, also privately owned, has long been a respite of British royalty. The entirety of Palm Island is a private resort, welcoming guests to it outstanding beaches and generous amenities. The Tobago Cays offer a secluded spot to snorkel and explore incredible coral reefs. And Union Island, its interior mountains surrounded by lovely beaches, has become a take-off spot for yachts heading to other Grenadine islands.
