Extreme Elements accepts branded cards from American Express, Discover and Master Card, and Visa.
Can I use a debit card to pay for my reservation?
You may pay with a debit card displaying a Visa or MasterCard logo. Your bank will deduct the purchase amount from the associated checking account. Some restrictions on the use of debit cards restrict purchases, such as limitations on the number of daily transactions and a set daily withdrawal limit. Some hotels may not accept debit cards as a deposit for incidental charges incurred during your stay.
Extreme Elements does not accept prepaid or ‘stored value’ cards for payment, including those showing a MasterCard or Visa logo.
Can I pay for someone else’s reservation using my check debit or credit card?
{faq_4a}Why does the billing address have to match with my address on file at the credit card company?
If the billing address entered on the Extreme Elements billing page does not match the address where your card company sends monthly statements, the card company will not authorize the charge. Both your credit card company and Extreme Elements use the billing address as part of the identification process to protect you from unauthorized purchases and credit card fraud.
What is the CVV number?
CVV stands for Card Verification Value and is a 3 or 4 digit number printed on your credit card. On Visa and MasterCard the 3-digit CVV is printed on the reverse side of the card at the far right of the signature tape. On American Express cards the 4-digit CVV is printed on the front of the card above and to the right of the embossed card number.
I got a “credit card invalid error†when I made the reservation. What's that?
This error usually occurs when you incorrectly key in your credit card number. Each credit card number is checked for the correct number of digits, and for the correct sequence. Make sure you have entered the correct numbers in the correct sequence.
